JG van der Valk Vastgoed was founded in 1987. We are a family business.

John van der Valk has many years of experience in the fields of Project Development, Construction Engineering, and Real Estate. He also shares his knowledge with others and is a popular guest speaker, lecturer/trainer at Universities of Applied Sciences, Universities, and Training Institutes, and he provides in-house training at companies and organizations.

Initially, we limited ourselves solely to renting out our own real estate portfolio, which consisted primarily of furnished apartments rented to (international) companies and organizations. Because the tenants were very satisfied with our approach and an increasing number of people wanted to rent out their homes through us, we decided to expand our services as real estate agents to include renting out third-party properties to companies and organizations. This has yielded such good results that we now have a thriving business and can count many large and well-known national and international companies and organizations among our clientele, who make use of our services time and again. We housed people for projects such as “De Rotterdam” – Rotterdam, Amadeus The Hague, E-On Centrale Maasvlakte, Doornroosje Nijmegen, Botlekbrug A Lanes 15 Hoogvliet, and Booking.com Amsterdam.

The services also expanded increasingly.

We provide increasingly more services to expats from companies and organizations; think, for example, of picking up and dropping off expats for viewings or picking up and dropping off expats to and from Rotterdam, The Hague Airport, and Schiphol.

Because Van der Valk Vastgoed possesses architectural and project development expertise alongside real estate brokerage, we advise an increasing number of companies and organizations on their entire accommodation needs. We are frequently engaged to (temporarily) house the entire organization and are asked to assist in finding alternative, more suitable existing accommodation or in developing homes, offices, and/or industrial buildings.
